Welcome to the 2023 Ground Engineering Awards!

We are delighted to have you join us for the 2023 GE Awards gala dinner ceremony, which is dedicated to celebrating the achievements of the ground engineering industry.

This year is our biggest awards night to date, with almost 1000 guests joining us at Grosvenor House, with representation from across the geotechnical sector.

It was another record-breaking year for award entries. With over 300 submissions across our 19 enterable award categories that highlight exceptional projects, solutions, companies, teams and individuals.

This year we’ve introduced a new GE Award aimed at recognising an inspirational leader and influential geotechnical engineer who has made a significant contribution to the geotechnical field and left a mark on the profession.

We had numerous impressive submissions for the very first Lifetime Achievement Award, making the judging process extremely challenging.

Congratulations to this year’s winner! We look forward to recognising more influential geotechnical leaders in the years to come.

A big thanks to our more than 70 expert judges, who have volunteered their time to go through two stages of judging, including long days of face-to-face presentations. We could not do this without your help.
